Winter Weather has not stopped progress on
The Lodge at Old Kinderhook
Winter may be in full swing around the midwest, but the Lake of the Ozarks is enjoying a rather dry winter which allows construction progress to keep moving full steam ahead.
"We've got footings in and wall forms up (shown in the photo above). We should be set to get the rest of the concrete poured in the upcoming days. I'm very pleased with the progress thus far," said Executive Director Bob Renken. Renken and members of the Old Kinderhook team have a meeting planned this month to discuss plans for the ice rink and further information is forthcoming.
"It's getting very exciting. As the building starts taking shape, our team is focusing efforts on details like interior finishing and color palate. Slone Architects and Thomas Construction have some talented people and have proven to be a great resource for us," added Renken.
