Tip from the Pro
Practicing excellence in golf course maintenance includes the aeration process. It is a necessity in overall health of the greens. This makes putting a bit "bumpy" for a short time as the greens heal. Here are our best recommendations if playing a course following aeration:
- Bring your patience to the golf course - bumpy greens make putting less precise
- Use a different, older putter, as playing aerated greens can be tough on equipment
- Understand the greens will play slower than normal, a heavier putter is helpful
