The Lodge At Old Kinderhook Earns 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate Of Excellence
The Lodge at Old Kinderhook, after only being open for one year, is thrilled to announced they have received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Award. Trip Advisor is in its sixth year, and the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries, and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
The Lodge at Old Kinderhook opened in 2015 with 84 guest rooms to offer guests more lodging options while on property. Old Kinderhook has homes, cottages, and villas on a vacation rental program that had been the only lodging option for years. The supply was limited and with a premier golf course serving over 26,000 rounds of golf a year, it was time to offer more lodging options to customers. By adding the hotel, it has created what was formally more of a golf destination to a full service resort. Old Kinderhook has three onsite restaurants, Signature Golf Course, Full Service Spa, Seasonal Outdoor Ice Rink, Seasonal Sand Volleyball Courts, Conference Center, onsite amenities, Lake Access and Real Estate Opportunities.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
